I make my own slabs from the trees we take down right here in the Lakes region of New Hampshire. A lot of them have been sitting for years and years to become spalded and have some beautiful natural aging colors making an artistic design all by itself with no help from us except to wait for the magic to happen.  I have three stalls full of slabs, all different species and my wider boards are outside stickered. I have up to 26 in wide down to 4 in wide. Depending on what you’re looking for, I have up to 4 in thick for people who need to use them for lathes or for fire mantles or thick benches.

Prices vary on the design of the piece so come see what I have and I can tell you how much. Prices range from $40 up. I can also cut them to size and I have a large planer for an extra fee up to 20 in wide.

I just finished my first raccoons coming out of a tree hole from a Long Winter. The piece of wood is a white Birch. It stands a little over 4 ft tall. You can always shorten it. If it’s too tall, lean it up against another tree or your house or a post.  $225
